Wells Fargo CSV to QBO Converter
Keep the first transaction when converting a headerless Wells Fargo-style five-column CSV.
CSV → QBO workbench
Your bank data never leaves this browser.
Before you convert
A clear path from source to output.
- 01
Prepare the source
For the illustrated layout, columns are Date, Amount, Marker, Unused and Description. When the file starts with a US numeric date, this page supplies those headers instead of consuming the first transaction.
- 02
Review the transformation
The asterisk and empty position are placeholders in the example layout. They must not shift the description into the amount field. Quoted commas in merchant names are kept inside their field.
- 03
Check the destination
Compare the number of source transactions with the preview count. If your export has a different layout, use manual column mapping instead of assuming the synthetic example describes every account. No live bank connection is used.
What to check in the preview
Compare the record count, date range, deposits and withdrawals with your source. A download is not a completed import or an account reconciliation.
The tool handles one local file up to 5 MB. Invalid records block export. Format-specific limitations appear before you download.
