QIF to QBO Converter
Convert a single-account QIF into a QBO bank transaction file with explicit date handling.
QIF → QBO workbench
Your file stays in this browser.
Before you convert
A clear path from source to output.
- 01
Prepare the source
Select the date order used in the QIF. A date such as 04/05/2026 cannot reveal its intended meaning by itself. Confirm your account identifiers and currency before export.
- 02
Review the transformation
The parser supports Bank, CCard and Cash transaction sections. It reads payee and memo separately and preserves each transaction total. Categories and split allocations are not posted into accounting accounts in the resulting QBO.
- 03
Check the destination
A new deterministic FITID is generated because basic QIF does not supply a bank transaction ID. Keep the source and conversion settings together, and review overlapping imports instead of assuming they match a live bank feed.
What to check in the preview
Compare the record count, date range, deposits and withdrawals with your source. A download is not a completed import or an account reconciliation.
The tool handles one local file up to 5 MB. Invalid records block export. Format-specific limitations appear before you download.
